Estée Lauder launched the Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist not long ago following the massive popularity of their Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion. If you"ve been following my blog, you will know that I haven"t been that impressed with Estée Lauder products overall based on my past years back in university. However, my view on some of their new products has started to change a bit in a more positive way since last year. So here I am today to review their becoming iconic Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist & Skin Activating Treatment Lotion.

Estée Lauder Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist
I was very fortunate to lớn get to try out Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist about 6 months before its launch in the states. My mother brought me a couple of the mists when she visited me last summer. I was a bit surprised at the beginning simply because of the size. It isn"t much compared khổng lồ the Sisley Floral Mist that I"ve been using for very long time.
Packaging
It comes in a 75mL triangular shaped plastic bottle, which easily fits into my La Prairie pouch. As the bottle is made out of plastic, it"s very light, meaning you will enjoy it even more if you are someone who doesn"t lượt thích to carry heavyweight stuff like me. Having said that, heat may reach the bottle và the mist very easily, so you will need to lớn be extra careful not to put it near a heater or even a computer. I"m very conscious about the temperature difference & the cosmetics, so I always try lớn prevent anything that could affect the products. Anyways, this hasn"t been an issue with Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist as I"ve been taking good care of it.

Scent & Consistency
I"m not the biggest tín đồ of essential oil scents or artificial strong perfumey scents mainly because I get a headache from them. Thankfully, the company didn"t disappoint me with the scent! :) like their Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion, there"s no recognisable scent. It just doesn"t smell lượt thích anything, just very plain, nothing potent at all.

Estée Lauder Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist has been one of a few mists that I could spray onto my face without worrying about messing up my make-up. It sprays fine và locally lượt thích Amore Pacifc mists. It doesn"t come out of the bottle strong, you don"t have to worry about causing wrinkles around the eyes from closing too tight :P. It feels very gentle & watery light và didn"t give me any breakouts. I"ve been using the mist since last summer, & it has been working great in different seasons.

Naturally, I purchased the La Mer one as I"ve been using their products for years and I assumed that the Estée Lauder one would be pretty much the same as they both are owned by Estée Lauder company. Và here I am, I finally got Micro Essence Treatment Lotion after trying out their newest launch Micro Essence Aquaceutical™ Mist :3. That"s right, I lượt thích the mist that I had khổng lồ try their first essence too!
Packaging
I was very surprised with the fact that it actually comes in a triangular shaped glass bottle. Because of the shape, it actually gives a quite nice grip in my hand when I use it. It feels way more luxurious and better than La Mer The Treatment Lotion packaging, which is made of plastic.

Scent & Consistency
Although it contains ferments & fragrance-free, it doesn"t smell aged or uncomfortable at all. There"s definitely some kind of hue in the scent, but it smells very plain và there"s almost no distinguished scent. Even better, it"s watery light, but it absorbs into skin better than water :). There"s no filmy or sticky residue afterwards, which will work well even on oily skin types as long as their skin isn"t reactive lớn fermented ingredients.

Effectiveness
My skin never really had bumps from fermented skincare, but my skin had a bit of trouble at the beginning when I started using Micro Essence. I was getting little bumps here và there, which I found weird as I didn"t get any sensitivity from Micro Essence Mist. So I had to reduce the number of usages to lớn once every other day for about 2 weeks. Then, I increased the frequency khổng lồ nightly for a week. I concluded that it was just a temporary reaction, và I confirmed that it was no longer causing me breakouts. Once I was convinced, I started using it every day and night.
It doesn"t make skin silky instantly as it"s very lightweight, but I"ve noticed that it works brilliant as a first essence. Lượt thích many other generic fermented first essences on the market, it helps with skin texture & overall cell turnover. It"s mildly exfoliating, so it"s indeed great for any skin that needs a gentle treat. It doesn"t give that resurfacing or glow overnight, so it is a different concept lớn peel pads và treatments on the market.

I"m not sure about the percentage of the fermented ingredients in the essence, but I recommend you to do a patch test before committing khổng lồ buy as there are people whose skin doesn"t get along very well with such ingredients. Other than that, it"s a nice first essence overall. However, if you ask me if there"s anything really special compared to the other fermented first essences on the market, then my answer lớn that is, not really.
